Gaelyn Elliot-Young

Vocalist

Gaelyn Elliott Young received her B.F.A Degree in Vocal Performance from The Carnegie Mellon University College of Fine Arts and most recently completed the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medicine Certificate Program at VCU. During her time at Carnegie Mellon, Gaelyn studied with acclaimed soprano Laura Knoop-Very and Sondra Gelb, as well as two-time Grammy Award winning choral conductor Dr. Robert Page. The 2015-2016 year marked Gaelyn’s inaugural season as Assistant Director of The Virginia Choristers, as well as her Carnegie Hall conducting debut at Weill Recital Hall in June 2016. In addition to her work with the Choristers, Gaelyn serves as the Choir Director for Galilee Montessori School in Virginia Beach, VA, Music Instructor for Rudlin Torah Academy, and teaches voice at The Academy of Music.
